Next year in July 2012, we will be taking over 40 selected Gymnasts to the Festival Del Sole in Italy and we are asking whether local companies would sponsor the club to support our gymnasts with any offer of help.

Derby City Tumblers qualify for the World Championships

Fantastic News

Derby City Tumblers qualify for the      

World Championship

Ashton Jenns (11-12 boys), Anthony Colder (13-14 boys), Charlotte Caunt (15-16 Girls) and 2010 world champion Greg Townley (15-16 boys) attended the british trials and all qualified to represent Great Britain at the 2011 World Tumbling Championships which is being held at the N.I.A arena, Birmingham, between 24^th November to 27^th November.

This is a fantastic achievement for the gymnasts and the club.

The Gymnasts and the Club would like to thank all the effort from the coaches and their coach Damien. There are tickets still available please come along and join me in supporting them.

Derby City Gymnastics Club Display Team

Derby City Gymnastics Club Display Team would like to thank everyone who came to watch and support the team at our recent performance on Derby Market Place. The team performed to celebrate the 1 year count down to the Olympics, we were joined by many others performing, as well as the BBC coming along to film the event!

It was a very successful day, with great feedback received from all who watched!

We would also like to thank everyone who came along to have their face or nails painted, which helped us raise some money for the club!
 
Heather and Laura would like to thank all the gymnasts who performed - you all did a great job! And we look forward to taking you to perform at our next event - Spondon Festival on Sunday 11th September.
